Binoid Water-Soluble CBD Drops – Ginger (500 mg) Product Review

We weren’t that surprised when the Binoid Water-Soluble CBD Wellness Drops (500mg) smelled like ginger, as that’s the flavor advertised on the bottle. We were, however, impressed at just how natural and crisp the smell was. Like, almost eerily similar to the experience of a fresh-cut ginger root on the kitchen counter. The scent perfectly captured the sweet and piquant scent of ginger and left us hopeful for the flavor to come.

Again, this product really captured the ginger flavor (probably because it uses 100% Natural Ginger flavor as an ingredient). The tincture is sweet and incredibly aromatic, adding that little “something something” that can generally be achieved with real ginger. It even perfectly showcases that spicy, biting aftertaste of raw ginger, which can make it a little “overstimulating” to those with sensitive taste buds. Mixed into tea, though, it has just the perfect amount of sweetness and gingery bite. 

This water-soluble CBD tincture is a bit different than many oil-based tinctures. The consistency could variably be described as lighter and less viscous than traditional oils and it feels very smooth in the mouth. Because it’s water-soluble, it also feels very light and seems to sort of “dissolve” while under the tongue, but it’s still thick enough that it’s easy to measure and dose without too much mess. Because of the aforementioned formulation, it easily mixes into beverages for easy dosing. 

We decided to try these Ginger CBD Wellness Drops at the onset of back pain, which is related to nerve damage near the spine. One dropper full of these drops offers 16.6mg of CBD, which we assumed was suitable based on our regular dose of 20mg. We mixed our dose with a warm cup of black tea, and tried to consume it within a ten minute window. It only took about half an hour to begin feeling the effects, and the first sign was the release of tension surrounding the damaged spinal area.

Therapeutic effects continued to unfold for the next half hour, beginning with lessened inflammation and pain, and we eventually experienced the fullest amount of relief we’ve found possible even with prescription medications. Most of the range of motion was returned to the spine by the 1 hour mark, and relief lasted about 6 hours, which is longer than we experience when using standard pain-relievers. 

Another tester was able to try these CBD drops to combat soreness in a tired, previously-injured knee. The knee, which contains a surgical screw, only causes trouble from time to time, but tends to swell after heavy use. The same fast acting effects were mirrored, and at the 40 minute point he noted that most of the swelling and discomfort had disappeared. In this case, a single dose was enough to clear away the issue for the remainder of the day, so no redose was needed. 

These CBD Wellness Drops are not designed to target specific conditions (to our knowledge) but there may be some benefits related to the anti-inflammatory benefits of ginger. However, these drops could be useful for a range of different conditions that respond to CBD.
