Smell (Irrelevant to effects)

The Canna Comforts CBD Grapefruit Bath salt scrub smells just like the juiciest, sweetest grapefruit you’ve ever had as soon as you open the seal on the packet.  We were reminded of the giant Ruby Red Texas grapefruits we grew up with, all sweetness and tang without any lingering bitter tones.  The scent is refreshing and invigorating, perfect for energizing your body and mind.

Consistency

The CBD Grapefruit Bath Salt Scrub comes in a black zipper-sealed pouch (which we like, as it allows you to save any extra scrub for another time).  The scrub itself is coarse in texture, with an oily moisture feel that’s hydrating on the skin. The salt is tinged pink, but not to the point that it will color your bathwater or tub.  Much of the color likely comes from the Himalayan Pink salt used in the blend.

When applied to wet skin, the salt scrub feels pleasantly exfoliant without being too rough.  It’s suitable for sensitive skin, provided you aren’t allergic to grapefruit essential oil. The blend of argan, jojoba, and almond oils helps hydrate skin while sloughing off dead cells, improving circulation and imparting a healthy glow.

Effects (Onset, Duration, Intensity)

We recommend taking your time with the CBD Grapefruit Bath Salt Scrub for best results.  Draw yourself a warm bath, and then soak for 5-10 minutes to soften dead skin. When you’re ready, use small amounts (scooping a bit into your fingertips works well) to focus on the parts of your body that need the most attention.

The product works well to remove dead skin and increase blood flow in the skin, but you can also massage it into areas that need localized pain relief (be gentle, and don’t apply to broken skin!).  When you decide you’re done — or the scrub dissolves, whichever comes first — relax and soak for 15-20 minutes, or as long as you like.
