NuLeaf Naturals at a Glance

NuLeaf Naturals is a hemp industry pioneer offering a wide variety of formulas and potencies, including some cannabinoid formulas that are more difficult to find, like this potent CBC extract. The brand offers everything that you need to create a truly functional hemp wellness regimen, including oils, capsules, and even topical products.

Their variable selection isn’t the only noteworthy thing about the brand–they also go to great lengths to prove the quality and purity of every batch. To learn more about the quality standards and what the brand has to offer, read our NuLeaf Naturals brand review.

NuLeaf Naturals Full Spectrum CBC Oil Overview

CBC oil is one of the more under-acknowledged hemp formulas on the market, but the brand touts it as a targeted formula for improving focus and cognitive function and relieving pain. Their CBC Oil formula is clean and pure, containing only Full Spectrum Hemp Extract, and Organic Virgin Hemp Seed Oil. That means it’s fully accessible to those with dietary restrictions or who like to avoid certain ingredients, like artificial sweeteners, flavors, and dyes.

There are three different sizes available–300, 900, or 1,800 mg per bottle. The only thing that changes, though, is the bottle size, so each formula offers a rounded 30 mg of CBC per ½ mL serving. Each serving also promises a minimum of 4 mg of “secondary cannabinoids,” or a blend of other minor cannabinoids present in the full spectrum formula. (If you’d like, the brand also offers this CBC blend in 15 mg Softgels.)

We love that the brand makes transparency and quality a top priority. You can easily find the lab results on the brand’s website. We received the 900mg CBC Oil, and the bottle is labeled with a QR code that leads us right to the lab results (which check out in both the purity and potency departments).

NuLeaf Naturals CBC Oil First-Hand Review

The recommended dosage for this CBC oil is ½ mL, which equates to 10 drops, or 30 mg of CBC. Unlike many of their other products, NuLeaf doesn’t automatically suggest two daily doses, rather they suggest using this CBC oil “once daily or as needed.”

We followed these directions entirely and took a 30 mg dose around lunch time. Here’s how our CBC experience went:

Smell

This oil smells a little “grassy,” and has the earthy undertones you’d expect from a natural hemp tincture.

Taste

The flavor is pretty similar to the smell–grassy and herbal. It’s pretty similar to the last swallow of a dark-brewed herbal tea, which is very palatable and mild so far as natural hemp tinctures go.

Consistency

This CBC oil is a thin, non-sticky, golden oil that’s smooth and easy to swallow. We love this thinner consistency since it’s easy to measure and doesn’t leave much texture behind after swallowing.

Effects

We didn’t exactly know what to expect from this CBC dose, so we monitored the effects carefully after dosing. As we’d hoped, we began to feel what we considered the “first sign of effects” after about 45 minutes. This CBC dose started with a mild uplifting, energized feeling, albeit milder than a cup of coffee. It also seemed to have a positive impact on our mood, which was an unexpected benefit.

More importantly, though, our body felt loose and pain melted away. We noted that the “pain relief” seemed to target our milder inflammatory pain, like soreness in joints, more so than any chronic or nerve-related pains. Still, the effects were significant, exactly the type of relief we need for post-workout recovery.

Many of the reviews for this product suggest that it works wonders for arthritis or similar inflammatory pain, and we definitely see how this could be true. Given the boost to both our cognition and mood, we can definitely see this fitting in as an early morning dose, possibly as an even more effective alternative to some of the mood-supporting, anti-inflammatory CBG products we’ve tried.

NuLeaf Naturals Full Spectrum CBC Oil Price & Comparison

The 900mg bottle of NuLeaf’s Multicannabinoid Oil costs $79, which rounds out to about $0.09 per milligram. That’s a typical per-milligram price for standard cannabinoid formulas, and we believe it’s a fair price to pay for a seed-to-sale traced product of this caliber.

NuLeaf Naturals Full Spectrum CBC Oil Quality

NuLeaf uses proprietary hemp genetics to create a hemp extract that’s highly concentrated and multifaceted, resulting in a clean, effective full-spectrum formula. By managing every step of the process, all the way down to the quality of the water used on their hemp crops, they can ensure a clean and potent end product.

The CBD company pairs its advanced cultivation program with thorough quality testing, and the lab results prove the absence of pesticides, microbials, mold, and other common contaminants in this CBC formula. We have no qualms with the quality of this formula–the consistency, flavor, and efficacy are all in line with what we expect from a top-tier CBC product.

Conclusion

We mentioned that CBC is a rare commodity on the hemp market, even as the market continues to expand, so we were happy to see this CBC oil at such a fair price point. So far as a full-spectrum CBC formula goes, this oil met all of our expectations. The flavor is a bit hempy, but not overwhelming. Otherwise, our only complaint is the lack of markings on the oil dropper, an issue that can be resolved by counting the drops to adjust the dosage.

Since it’s an oil product (and the brand offers guidelines to help you measure by the drop), we think it could be useful for hemp consumers at any point in their dosing journey, no matter your daily dosage needs. We also love that the 1,800 mg bottle offers a great value for avid consumers who need to buy in bulk, which is a definite perk to anyone looking to keep this hard-to-find formula on hand.
