Just like the NuLeaf Multicannabinoid Oil, these softgels contain specified amounts of four powerful hemp-derived cannabinoids, including CBD, CBC, CBG, and CBN. There are three bottle sizes to choose from, containing either 300 mg, 900 mg, or 1,800 mg of cannabinoids per bottle. All that changes is the number of softgels in the bottle, though. Each capsule contains a 15 mg dose, no matter which size you choose. 

Again, these convenient softgels are closely related to the oil version of this product, containing only one ingredient beyond the Full Spectrum Hemp Extract–Organic Virgin Hemp Oil. That means there are no additives, flavors, sweeteners, or other ingredients that will interfere with dietary restrictions, making this product vegan, gluten-free, and ultimately accessible. 

These Multicannabinoid softgels are well packaged and marked with a QR code that leads to the correct lab reports. Everything checks out in quality and potency, and the softgels arrived in great shape. We’ve previously tested the oil version of this product, but we were more than eager to give this convenient encapsulated version a shot. 

The recommended dosage for these softgels is 2 softgels daily, ideally split into two daily doses. We started with one softgel in the morning, which is a 15 mg dose of this full spectrum formula. Here’s what we think:

Taste

Like all great softgel, there’s no flavor or even remnants of flavor here. This makes these capsules a great alternative to the Multicannabinoid Oil formula for those who don’t care for the flavor of natural hemp oil products. 

Consistency

These softgels are mid-size, oblong, true softgels. They have a bit of give when squeezed, making them incredibly easy and comfortable to swallow. 

Effects

It took a little over an hour to feel this softgel dose take effect, but we eventually felt the mild relaxation set in. We’ll say, the oil version of this Multicannabinoid formula has proven very useful for managing back pain and stiffness for us in the past, and our experience with these capsules was very similar. We felt loose and at ease, and the combination of cannabinoids here took the edge off of nerve-related pain for almost 4 hours. 

We suspected, however, that a larger dose was needed (our usual CBD dose is around 25 mg), so we increased to two softgels in the evening. Sure enough, the 30 mg dosage helped soothe pain and inflammation, and we also felt a “drifting” sensation similar to when we take our nighttime CBN dose. While the effects aren’t quite “sedating,” they made it possible to unwind, both mentally and physically, from our daytime tension and stress.

All in all, this nifty Multicannabinoid formula is a perfect option for those who rely on a combination of therapeutic cannabinoids for round-the-clock relief, and we see how they could easily replace a number of hemp products in our wellness arsenal.

The 900mg bottle of NuLeaf’s Multicannabinoid Softgels costs $79, which rounds out to about $0.09 per milligram. The price is similar to other products on the market,and matches the cost of the oil version of this formula. Since softgels often come at a higher price point, we’ll call this a very fair price.

We truly had no issues, not even in the realm of typical complaints for softgel formulas. The capsules didn’t stick together in the bottle, were easy to swallow, and the formula seems to be everything we want out of our daily full spectrum dose.

These softgels live up to our expectations for a great CBD formula–they’re easy to swallow, flavorless, and ultimately effective. In fact, this uniquely balanced formula is hard to match, and we’ve yet to see a full spectrum formula that meets these same potency standards for the minor cannabinoids in this formula. 

The 15 mg dose is an accessible starting dosage for consumers that are new to CBD dosing, and we found that the daily recommended dose of 2 capsules was exactly on par with what we needed for a full day of relief. Given the high-quality and average price point, these NuLeaf Multicannabinoid Softgels are a great dosing option for anyone looking for a convenient, effective daytime full spectrum hemp dose.
