• Vanilla: After opening SeaBeDee’s 1500mg CBD tincture in vanilla, we were immediately delighted by the aroma. The smell of vanilla is not overwhelming and only delicately accented with a touch of sweetness. The smell is light and airy, and could almost be described as “whipped” as opposed to the smell of a rich vanilla dessert.
• Peppermint: The 1500mg tincture in peppermint is a fresh delight to the nose, and is equally as balanced as the vanilla version. Instead of the overpowering smell of mint that sometimes leaves tinctures smelling like mouthwash, this tincture is only lightly touched with the icy sweet smell of peppermint.

Each flavor that SeaBeDee offers is unique from the next, though they seem to follow the same “delicate” theme with every oral product we’ve tried. Most products have a very light flavor that’s never overwhelming and goes down smooth. We tried two different versions of the 1500mg tincture, and these were the outcomes:

• Vanilla: The vanilla version has a very minimalistic flavor profile that is almost like homemade vanilla ice cream without the sugar. It’s not sweet in the slightest, but you can still enjoy the lingering touch of vanilla that leaves you longing for a sweet treat. The oil itself is light and airy, and the finish is smooth. There’s no inherent “hemp” flavor, either, so it’s great for picky palates.
• Peppermint: The peppermint variety of SeaBeDee’s 1500mg tincture is relatively mild with the same high quality, smooth hemp oil base. It does have a bit more kick that stems from the peppermint’s cooling effect, and the flavor sticks around a little longer. To get a better idea of the flavor, just imagine the freshness you feel after brushing your teeth, again minus the sweetness.

SeaBeDee designed this product with a full spectrum CBD oil that appears to be of high quality. The thin oil is nearly flavorless (aside from flavor add-ins) and is lightly golden in color. It measures easily and accurately and feels smooth in the mouth when dosing.

These 1500mg CBD Oil tinctures offer incredibly high doses of cannabidiol, and one dropper full is 50 mg. We decided to start with half a dropper full, or 25mg, which is only slightly higher than the dose we regularly use. With no intended purpose or standout symptom, we decided to simply try the peppermint oil alongside our morning tea. It took about 15 minutes to feel properly caffeinated, but after about an hour the effects of CBD were undeniable.

We’ve experienced increased focus while using CBD before, but the mental boost from this single dose lasted well into the afternoon and helped avoid caffeine crash entirely. Although the day wasn’t particularly stressful, we also noted particularly low anxiety levels after this morning dose.

In an attempt to test the true power of this potent tincture, we outsourced to another product tester, aged 55, who takes CBD regularly to help manage chronic back pain caused by spinal cord damage. He usually takes between 50-100mg of CBD daily, as needed, to manage pain or improve sleep quality.

Although he wasn’t ecstatic about the lack of flavor, he reported that the effects were very comparable to his regular products. A single 50mg dose in the morning warded off back pain that usually limits mobility. He recorded the first dose at 8 am with a 50 minute onset, and then reported that another 50mg dose was needed around 3pm. He also reported using his cane only “minimally,” a feat that’s not even attainable with prescription medications (because they disorient him too greatly).

Additionally, even at high doses of 100mg per day, there were no side effects reported. Since the only complaint was with the flavor, we considered this tincture a success.

Cannabidiol has a variety of uses and researchers are working to unearth new potential benefits of the cannabinoid every day. Studies have linked CBD to anxiolytic effects, anti-inflammatory effects, cancer management, and more. This product in particular is not symptom specific, which means it may be useful for anyone who benefits from CBD.

One unique factor of this tincture is it’s high potency, which makes it easy for users that require larger doses of cannabidiol to get relief. Even for those who take smaller doses, these 1500mg tinctures may be a great option for buying in bulk and saving a little money.

We didn’t pair this CBD tincture with another product (besides our morning tea!), but it could easily be matched with a more instantaneous product to increase its effects. Although this tincture is particularly strong, it must be metabolized before taking effect. That means that tinctures can take up to 90 minutes to kick in. SeaBeDee’s 1500mg cannabidiol tincture is listed at $115.00, which equates to approximately $0.08 per milligram of CBD. That means that this tincture costs about $4 per 50 milligram serving, offering a very fair value to users who want to buy in larger quantities.

There are multiple different CBD products out there that can be compared to this 1500mg tincture by SeaBeDee, but very few reasons that we see to reach for an alternative.
