Smell (Irrelevant to effects)
The Face & Body Aromatherapy Sprays from Ambary Gardens come in three different flavors: Invigorating Orange, Cooling Peppermint, and Down to Earth. The smell of each Aromatherapy Spray is very consistent with the name—the Down to Earth flavor smells like sage, geranium, and patchouli. Each flavor has its own essence, and you can’t go wrong with any one of them. Our favorite is the Down to Earth, but many people love the Cooling Peppermint and Invigorating Orange, so we encourage you to try all three!

Consistency
The consistency of this product is a liquid. The sprays utilize an aloe vera juice liquid base—from there, Ambary Gardens adds witch hazel, hemp derived CBD extract and various essential oils. The spray has a cool feeling when it hits your skin and it’s quickly absorbed. It’s easy to apply via the spray top and feels soothing on your skin. Instead of remaining on the skin level you can tell it instantly penetrates into your pores.
Effects (Onset, Duration, Intensity)
The effects are wonderful—your skin begins to open up and soften very quickly. The Face & Body Aromatherapy Spray is truly a skin conditioner and regenerative—we found its best used on sensitive skin. These products are intended more for beauty and wellness as opposed to arthritis and muscular applications (if you’re looking for that, check out the Deep Rub or Muscle Recovery salves). The invigorating effects of the spray can be felt instantly.
Best Used For
In our experience, the Aromatherapy Spray works best as a skin moisturizer and mood enhancer. It’s a great alternative to the Skin Repair salve from Ambary Gardens—although both moisturize and condition the skin, the Aromatherapy Spray is easier to apply and doesn’t leave the same protective layer as the Skin Repair. Women love using it as a facial spray to start and end their day—it’s very therapeutic before and after removing makeup. We use this spray in the afternoon before a massage, after meditation, for a little energy boost, really anytime inspirations strikes. Also, it does an amazing job helping heal sunburns!
