Smell

These pre-rolls are equal parts earthy and sweet with deep citrusy undertones. The smell is sweet and hempy and pleasant.

Consistency

The balm is thick and solid, enough so that we needed to break the surface with a fingernail, but still melts upon contact with our pups skin. It was pretty easy to spread where it’s needed, even on the rough pads of his paws. 

Effects

We applied this balm to our pup, Caesar, to help his cracked nose and paws through a cold winter. Caesar loves to hike through the National Forest with his family, but his sensitive paws often pay the price. When we noticed dry, cracked skin starting to appear, we swapped out his normal nose balm for this hempy alternative from LolaHemp. He didn’t seem to mine (or notice) the difference, and we felt good about the clean and natural ingredients list after we watched him desperately try to lick it from his nose.

Still after 3-4 applications over two days, it was as if his paws had never been sore to begin with. The cracking was no longer apparent and he seemed to suffer no sensitivity. Even the flaky skin on his nose had entirely healed. Although the initial damage was minimal, LolaHemp Full Spectrum Hemp Balm seemed to work much faster than our usual cream. We definitely plan to keep Caesar on his toes, so we’ll keep this balm on his paws, too.
